As a grownup, it can be easy to think that kids are swayed too easily by their favourite TV or movie characters, or even just a favourite colour, when it comes to what they wear. But it seems that many of the youngsters in our lives have a better fashion sense than us.
Research carried out recently by Capsule Chix found that 70 per cent of parents believe their children are usually better dressed than them, the Mirror reported.
But far from feeling frustrated by this, most parents said that they’re proud and even impressed by their youngster’s fashion sense.
A further one-third of parents revealed that they allow their little ones to go out wearing dressing up clothes, allowing them to embrace their sense of style.
Sales and marketing director at Moose Toys, the company which makes the Capsule Chix doll, Emily Maclennan told the newspaper: “Style is a really important part of self-expression, so it’s great to see parents allowing and encouraging this from a young age.”
The research also picked out the most stylish children in the world, and those who youngsters may look to for inspiration. Princess Charlotte was at the top of the list, closely followed by Harper Beckham.
